Government Affairs

Our speaker for October will be Rebecca De La Rosa, Legislative Affairs Director for Palm Beach County. She will be sharing with us her background and experience, as well as her vision on how the how the legislative affairs office will be moving forward. If time permits, we will also discuss the 1-cent sales tax and constitutional amendments that are on the ballot.

Government Affairs meetings are held on the third Friday of the month at 8:00AM at the Chamber. These meetings include representatives from City Staff, Elected Officials, the Police and Fire Rescue Departments, along with key business leaders within and around Delray Beach and provide a wealth of information regarding special projects and issues facing our City. Members are encouraged to arrive at 7:45AM to enjoy coffee and to network.
