\nThis year our Galentine'\;s Lunch is titled \;"\;Where There is Food There is LOVE"\;. \;We know that food can \;soothe \;our bodies AND our hearts! As well as a \;full stomach\, food gives us a sense of well-being and LOVE. Join us at the Seagate Country Club as we celebrate \;both food &\; \;love this Valentine season. \;

\nThis year our Galentine'\;s Lunch will include a delicious buffet\, a food demonstration \;by \;Chef Peter Moshonas from \;nonprofit organization The Soup Kitchen\, a food-inspired centerpiece contest (Yes - YOU can create a centerpiece made of food for our competition)\, a flower cart for curated bouquets\, give-back silent auction\, \;and an inspirational presentation by Lory Suarez\, RN\, HCA Florida Healthcare and former camp parent \;of \;CROS Ministries\, 2024 Delray Beach Chamber of Commerce &ldquo\;Nonprofit of the Year&rdquo\; winner.

\nBut wait.... There'\;s a cherry on top! You'\;ll have the opportunity to experience a "\;Taste of Love"\; with the hosts of the Sweet and Spicy Podcast\, as they invite you to pull up a chair and discuss the delicious relationship between love and cuisine. Plus\, test your knowledge with fun and engaging trivia questions that explore Love on the menu!

\nAs a single mom of two children\, Lory struggled to make ends meet\, put food on the table\, while pursuing her dream of becoming a nurse. But she refused to let these obstacles hold her back\, and instead\, she became determined to make a better life for herself and her family.

\nLory'\;s story is one of inspiration. It is a testament to the power of determination\, the strength of a mother&rsquo\;s love\, and the hope that can be found even in the most challenging of times. Her journey reminds us all that with love\, food\, community\, and a will to keep going\, anything is possible.

\nCROS Ministries stands in the gap for the hungry in Palm Beach and Martin County. In 2024 they gave out 123\,022 bags of food through their 7 pantries\, 496\,377 pounds of fresh produce through their gleaning program and 62\,053 meals through their food centers. Their reach goes beyond food as they LOVE the families\, children\, the homeless and elderly daily through a team of dedicated volunteers and staff.
