About
The Young Singers of the Palm Beaches is a dynamic and inspiring community-based children's choir that has been igniting the passion of young musicians for two decades. Through its commitment to excellence in choral education, the organization has provided thousands of children with the opportunity to discover their voice and explore the world of choral music. Young people in our program are exposed to an excellent choral education and perform in entertaining and musically diverse concerts.
YSPB’s Performance Choirs rehearse and perform at the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts in West Palm Beach. Our more than 350 singers are in grades 2-12, from all economic and social backgrounds, representing over 100 public, private, and home-schooled students throughout Palm Beach County. We produce two professional sold out concerts in the world renown Dreyfus Hall, in addition to numerous community performances including with the Youth Chorus of New York City, as a children’s chorus for the Palm Beach Opera and in a recent nationally syndicated PBS special with Palm Beach Symphony which was nominated for two regional Emmys.
Outreach programs support an additional 2,900 students in aftercare sites serving Title 1 elementary and middle schools, giving even more children the benefits of being part of a choir. We reach a geographic area the size of Delaware, including impoverished rural Western communities through our Choir in the Glades and Lake Shore Middle Teen Singers.
